| The U.S.
Congress has mandated that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(CMS) implement a program of competitive bidding for durable medical
equipment beginning in 2007. CMS published a proposed rule outlining
the intent of the agency, and while this proposed rule did answer
some basic questions it also left many important policy matters unanswered.
This Guide is intended to give providers of sleep related devices
and supplies important information so that you can best decide if
